Today we would like to introduce ourselves and mara mea to you.
Mara mea, what does that actually mean? Mara comes from samara – Latin for maple fruit – and mea, which means "my love." And that's exactly what mara mea is for us. – our new love.
Almost exactly half a year ago, we, Dorina and Maren, came up with the idea of ​​designing diaper bags for the modern woman and mother.
Far from floral and bear-baby designs. Simply stylish and trendy.
We know that fashion awareness and functionality do not have to be mutually exclusive.

Development of the bags is in full swing. The last few months have been marked by exciting planning phases, accounting and business start-up courses, but above all, by lots and lots of creativity and even more fun!
It makes us happy to see how mara mea is growing and we want to share it with you.

Before the measurements and specifications for design, color, and material can be manufactured by our Indian partner, we started some creative dyeing and sewing experiments to generate ideas.
Mood boards, trend research, and other related activities are now complete, and design development is progressing. Here you can see our dyeing and sample production.
