Interview with Tamara Claren: about fashion, escaping the city and being a mother

Tell us about yourself. Who are you? What do you do?

My name is Tamara Claren, I am 25 years old and I work full-time as a content creator for various brands in the fashion and design sector.

We love your style! What season do you prefer to style your outfits?

I love fall! Boots and coats always look good. I also think it's great to layer things together.

Do you have any style icons that inspire you?

You're a mom. How has your life changed since the birth of your child?

Quite a bit. I spend much more time with my family and take a lot of time off during the day. I'm on my phone much less and dedicate 90% of my time to my family. I love being a mom and would give anything for my loved ones.

What do you like most about being a mother?

The love for a child. There's no more beautiful feeling than to love and be loved. I love teaching Jakov new things and seeing how much he learns from me. Every day is different, and there's nothing more beautiful than lying down next to your child in the evening and cuddling. Giving them the love every child deserves. 🫶🏼

You're moving from Frankfurt to Austria. Why did you decide to move away from Frankfurt? What will you miss?

I think it was the best decision for us as a family to move out of Frankfurt and into a quieter area. I'm from Tyrol, and I've never been a city kid. I love peace and nature, and unfortunately, a big city can't offer that. I'll miss my good friends and acquaintances from Frankfurt!

All your interior design posts on Instagram are beautiful. Where do you get all your inspiration from, and do you have any big plans for your new apartment?

I get my inspiration from Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok. I love browsing Pinterest and spend a lot of time decorating our new apartment. I've made a firm resolution to buy less and focus more on DIY and unique pieces.

What are you most looking forward to in your new apartment?

Especially to the new beginning! But also to the balcony, the elevator, and the new surroundings. We previously lived in an older apartment in Frankfurt and now finally have the luxury of an elevator. 😅

Last but not least, your favorite mara mea product?

There's no question about it, I love all of mara mea's products! Especially because I know how much work the team puts into every detail. Now, for winter, I'm really looking forward to the hand warmers .

They're my absolute must-have for this winter! Not only do they look super stylish, but they also keep my hands nice and warm.
